Back Story

My passion is to solve problems visually. I first was introduced to Graphic Design at Union County Vocational-Technical School in NJ, USA. At that time I had no idea that a subject existed that brought together problem solving and visual creativity. Once I found out about the graphic design trade, I knew I had discovered what I was meant to do with my life and haven’t looked back. A recent honor’s graduate of Humber College with a 3 year Advanced diploma has prepared me for the road ahead.

When I work on a project, I look at what the project really, truly asks, and strive to solve the client’s problem and meet the client’s true objective. No matter what it requires of me. Having these types of obstacles challenges and drives me to creatively work hard at solving them. I am always striving to improve what I am doing, so I don’t make the same mistake twice.

For me, I believe that an obstacle, or challenge can be turned into something good. In my life there have been many different kinds of obstacles or challenges that I have had to overcome. The main one in my life is dyslexia, which I tackled head-on, and found instead of an obstacle it has become an asset. The same brain functioning that makes it harder to read, also means I view and process things differently from most people. This unique perspective means I can more readily think out of the box.
